Caylee's Memorial Service...
ORLANDO, Florida -- Caylee Anthony`s remains have been released, but won`t be at Tuesday`s public memorial service for the slain toddler, an attorney for the family said. The remains had been kept for forensic tests since they were found in early December in woods about a mile from the home of the slain child`s grandparents in Orlando, Florida. Obama "Hope" Artist Arrested...
Boston -- The street artist who created the ubiquitous red, white and blue Obama "Hope" posters was arrested Friday in Boston on outstanding graffiti charges, police said.
Shepard Fairey, 38, was arrested en route to an opening party for his first solo art exhibition on two outstanding warrants for property damage by graffiti, Boston police said.
Officer James Kenneally said the instances of graffiti involved images of the late wrestler Andre the Giant — Fairey`s tag.

Ex-cheerleader loses suit against student...
A former high school cheerleader who sued over injuries caused when a teammate failed to catch her during a routine, lost her appeal before the Wisconsin Supreme Court on Tuesday.
The seven state justices unanimously concluded cheerleading is a "contact" sport, and therefore neither the male student cited nor the school district was liable for damages.

Washington -- Negotiators have worked out a disagreement between the Senate and House over education funding that threatened to throw a last-minute roadblock in front of the economic stimulus bill, Democratic leadership sources said Wednesday evening.

Stimulus Bill clears Critical Hurdle...
The Obama administration`s $838 billion economic stimulus plan survived a key vote in the Senate, putting a compromise version of the bill on track for passage Tuesday.
With the help of Republican Sens. Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe and Arlen Specter, the Democrats locked in the votes needed to end debate on the bill.
The final vote was 61 in favor, 36 opposed.
