Brit just posted the following statement on her website: "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself."
Britney adds, "The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores` accusations and have closed the case without any further action."

TMZ has obtained the furry mug shot of "Sons of Anarchy" star Mark Boone Junior ... taken moments after he was arrested last month for allegedly assaulting a cop.As TMZ first reported, Boone Junior -- real name Mark Heidrich -- was arrested last month in Glendale, CA during a routine traffic stop ... after he allegedly flew off the handle and went after the cop who pulled him over.
Mark -- who also starred in "Batman Begins" -- was taken into custody for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest -- and was subsequently released after posting $20,000 bail.

TMZ obtained a copy of Royce Reed`s motion -- filed in Orange County, Florida yesterday -- in which she claims the Orlando Magic star regularly misses scheduled visitations with their son Reed. Royce also alleges that their son "acts out emotionally and physically and resists being taken by" Dwight`s nanny ... according to the docs.

| T.I. -- Rapper Might Get AXE`d Over Arrest |

T.I.`s ecstasy arrest has caused a serious stink with some of his sponsors -- in fact, TMZ has learned the people behind AXE body spray are considering kicking the rapper to the curb.
A rep for AXE tells TMZ they`re "troubled by [T.I.`s] arrest" and have been forced into "reviewing our promotional activities" with the rapper. Translation -- it doesn`t look good for T.I.
T.I. -- real name Clifford Harris -- locked down a deal with AXE earlier this year after promising the company that he was "working to become a more positive role model."

Kevin Federline has jumped to his ex-wife`s defense, saying claims that Britney Spears beat her children are "baseless."TMZ broke the story yesterday ... former Britney bodyguard Fernando Flores sued Brit, claiming, among other things, she "savagely" whipped her two kids with a belt.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was involved in a car accident this morning in Boston ... and one person was extricated from a vehicle with the help of the jaws of life.
Brady was reportedly "shaken" by the crash -- but a source has told ESPN that he did not go the hospital. Brady is now en route to Gillette Stadium -- home of the Pats.

An eyewitness to the alleged Lindsay Lohan "hit-and-run" tells TMZ ... the photogs who sold the after-the-fact video are lying.
The eyewitness -- a photographer -- says Lindsay was leaving her apartment building Wednesday (not yesterday) and was turning onto Holloway Drive with a green light. The photog says Lindsay "ever-so-slightly tapped the stroller -- like 1 mile an hour."
The photog says Lindsay pulled over, asked the nanny pushing the stroller if everything was okay and was told everyone and everything was fine, so she drove off.
