The much loved Welsh-born Princess Lilian of Sweden, Duchess of Halland, marks her 95th birthday Monday at Villa Solbacken. No official festivities are planned, but visits from members of the royal family are expected. Lilian is the oldest member of the royal family. Earlier this year the court announced she has Alzheimer`s disease. For that reason she no longer takes part in public events.

The Dutch royal family came out 15 members strong to the funeral of a beloved uncle, flying in from London and The Hague to the Italian city of Parma, a former duchy wedged between Toscane and the former Piedmont kingdom.
They came to pay tribute to Prince Carlos Hugo of Bourbon Parma, Duke of Parma, who passed away aged 80 in Barcelona ten days ago.

| Prince Harry passes helicopter exam...

HRH Prince Harry has passed his ground school exam, part of his Apache helicopter training. The young royal is “thrilled” after learning that he passed what he expected to be a huge challenge. The test is around math skills which the Prince admits isn’t his strong suit. A spokesperson for Clarence House said: "Flying comes more naturally to Harry than the mathematical and scientific papers which have marked the start of his course.
